Dangote Ten Commandment on money
“what we are doing now is just
scratching the surface. The future of our youths is far brighter than that of
my own generation.” Aliko Dangote
1st
commandment
Go into a business for which you have passion:
“Before deciding on the Business
you want to go into, take time to examine yourself,” Dangote said. “The type of
a person you are will determine the type of business you should go into. This is
very important. Some people when they want to go into business tend to look out
for the business that is going very well at that time and then into it.
2nd
commandment
Start small:
“some people say because they are
from so, so or family or have so, so, or so degree they cannot do this or that
kind of Business because is too small, I want to repeat that no business is to
small provided that it is legal and there is money to be make from it.
“This thing that I am talking
about now happened to my relatives who would see a small business where they
could make money but they would not do it. Instead, they would say something
like ‘my Name is Danogte’ or my name is Dantata, this kind of business this
kind of business is too small. I cannot get myself involved in it’. What am
trying to put across is that you don’t bring in your ego when it comes to
making money. There is a saying that pride goes before a fall.
